Stephen Hawkings is one of the greatest scientists of our time. He was born in Oxford, United Kingdom and studied in Cambridge University. Recently, he has published a long awaited research in the form of PHD thesis called “Properties of Expanding Universe”. The Cambridge University’s open-access repository was crashed on the very first day when the document was posted online.
The Cambridge Library made several PDF files available after the Library website crashes. Now the thesis is available for download from its websitein less than half that file size of the original. This small sized version was offered but the overwhelming interest of the people almost kept servers busy all the time.
