Oxford Policy Management (OPM) is a leading international develoment consultancy firm. OPM has been implementing the DFID supported Technical Support to Karnali Employment Programme supporting the Government of Nepal deliver the Karnali Employment Programme to benefit poor and vulnerable household in Karnali. It seeks to hire manpower for the following post:
Local Governance Capacity Building Specialist
Key Functions:

• Identify capacity needs of Local Governments to deliver KEP at local level
• Plan capacity building activities and work with local Governments
• Provide strategic support to Local Governments
• Provide backstopping support to TSKEP team
• Follow up and monitor effectivenes of capacity building
• Prepare monthly capacity building work plan
• Prepare progress against plan, good practices and learning from the capacity building interventions.

Experience/Qualifications

Master’s Degree in economics, political economy, governance or any other related discipline

At least 6+ years of experience

Sound knowledge and skills on developing and delivering training to local government
