USAID Nepal Strengthening Systems for Better Health (SSBH) Activity is a 5-year project aimed at improving health outcomes in Nepal, particularly for the most marginalized and disadvantaged groups in the country. This will be accomplished through supporting the Government of Nepal’s efforts to expand access to and use of quality maternal, newborn and child health and family planning (MNCH/FP) services, with a specific focus on newborn care. SSBH was initiated in January 2018 and will achieve three outcomes.
improving access to and utilization of equitable healthcare services,
improving the quality of health services at facility and community levels and
improving health system governance, within the context of decentralization and federalism.

1.Project Coordinator | Rights of Victims of Crime
Master’s Degree in Public Health, Public Policy or Administration, International Development or a related field
At least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably with internationally funded Public Health programs in a management role
2.Senior Technical Officer-Health Information Systems
Graduate degree (Masters orabove) in Public Health or other allied Health Sciences
At least 6 years of related professional experience in managing routine Health Information System, Data Management and must have knowledge of HMIS, DHIS2, HMIS, LMIS, eLMIS required
3.Technical Officer – Health Systems Strengthening and Health Information Systems
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Epidemiology, Statistics, Social Sciences or other relevant field
At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in Health System, Health Information Systems and/or Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning
4.Senior Technical Officer Family Planning
Master’s degree in Nursing or Public Health with clinical background
At least 6 years of related professional experience with technical knowledge and understanding and experience of Family Planning and Program Planning and Delivery
5.Senior Technical Officer – MNCH
Master’s degree in Nursing or Public Health with clinical background
At least 6 years of related professional experience with technical knowledge and understanding and experience of Maternal, Newborn, Child Health, Family Planning and Program Planning and Delivery
6.Technical Officer
Master’s Degree in Nursing or Public Health with clinical background
At least 5 years of related professional experience with technical knowledge and understanding and experience of Maternal, Newborn, Child Health, Family Planning and Program Planning and Delivery
7.Admin and Finance Assistant
Bachelors Degree in Administration, Management, Business, Social Science, or other relevant field
At least 2+ years of relevant professional experience in Office Administration and Financial Management
